The app "The Cloud People" (German: Das Wolkenvolk) is available in German from the Publisher Splitter. Two of three apps are now in the WP7 Zune marketplace. The publisher Splitter is known mostly for his sophisticated comics for an older audience. The trilogy about Das Wolkenvolk tells the story of rebellious Niccolo, who is sent from the Duke of High Airs to find a mysterious substance. The comics are an adaptation of Kai Meyer's same titled fantasy bestseller.

Our technical competence convinced the jury, and we won a Slate Oscar in the category "Best Slate Solution". We look forward to receiving the award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 (WPC) in Los Angeles, which takes place from the 9th until the 15th July.
As of March of this year, Vela Studios can be found in Microsoft’s trend book ‘The Future of Education’ as an example for what Europe’s IT studies landscape may look like in years to come. The trend book is meant to sharpen the focus on modern information technology for contemporary learning methods.
