Who can draw his weapon quicker than his shadow, but still ride nonchalantly into the sunset? That's right, Lucky Luke! In cooperation with the publisher Ehapa, Vela is bringing the cult comic series to smartphones.

Thanks to a free comic reader in the Zune marketplace, you can now download a new comic book app every Friday. Right now, two from ten apps are available - and during a summer promotion, the first 4,444 downloads are free of charge!

The app "The Cloud People" (German: Das Wolkenvolk) is available in German from the Publisher Splitter. Two of three apps are now in the WP7 Zune marketplace. The publisher Splitter is known mostly for his sophisticated comics for an older audience. The trilogy about Das Wolkenvolk tells the story of rebellious Niccolo, who is sent from the Duke of High Airs to find a mysterious substance. The comics are an adaptation of Kai Meyer's same titled fantasy bestseller.

Our technical competence convinced the jury, and we won a Slate Oscar in the category "Best Slate Solution". We look forward to receiving the award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 (WPC) in Los Angeles, which takes place from the 9th until the 15th July.

EuroCloud Deutschland_eco, the cloud services industry association of Germany, will be presenting the EuroCloud Germany Award 2011 for the first time this year. The winners will be announced on May 17, 2011, the night before the EuroCloud Germany Conference in Cologne.
